Going Green

DocuSafe was "green" before Going Green was fashionable.

Throughout the year DocuSafe processes tons of shredded paper and paper products that were formerly active business information. After paper records reach the end of their information lifecycle, they are shredded and co-mingled with other paper into an unrecognizable form. Next, they are compressed into bales and are placed into our holding area to await a new life. Early on, we made a “green” decision that we would not send this material to the landfill. Instead, we arranged to forward our shred to a company that recycles paper right here in our state. Former business records are re-purposed into useful paper products of all types. For all you know, the notepad on your desk could be recycled paper records from DocuSafe. We think it’s the right thing to do.
