If Your Electronic Media Assets Are Not in the
DocuSafe MediaSafe, They Are at Risk!

Built to our exacting specifications, our NEW data vault offers ultimate protection
and security light years ahead of any vaulting service in the Phoenix area.

How can we make this claim? Because it’s true. We’ve done our homework and we know what our
competition offers. Phoenix area businesses deserve more. That’s why we built our facility that
provides superior security for your critical electronic media records.

The superior features of DocuSafe’s MediaSafe Vault are:

  •    Class 125 four-hour rating for computer media, digital records and online server
equipment. This is four times the protection that a typically constructed data safe
        can provide!
  •    Vault doors are constructed from spun ceramic material capable of withstanding temperatures well    above 2000°F for five hours.
  •    Magnetic shielding components protect against the most common electromagnetic fields that  can    damage media archived in one location.
  •    DocuSafe’s vault can endure five hours of fire and then be exposed to heavy fire-fighting hose    streams with no damage to the vault structure. No other vault can provide this endurance and    survive to protect your media assets.
  •    DocuSafe is unique in that our vault is designed with a proprietary vapor barrier to ensure that high    moisture levels or steam cannot penetrate the vault walls and damage historic documents, business    records or other information assets stored within the DocuSafe vault.
  •    DocuSafe’s vault is equipped with a high quality Novec clean agent fire suppression system.
The vault is constantly monitored for any changes in temperature.  You can rest assured that any    occurrence will be diminished quickly and effectively thus providing the ultimate protection for
       your data.
  •    DocuSafe has gone the extra mile to protect your media.  Our vault is sentried by a state of    the art    security system consisting of electronic video surveillance, a unique combination of digital and    manual security entry devices, and 24/7 controlled access entry monitoring. Our cutting edge security    system ensures you the “Peace of Mind” that your data is safe    with DocuSafe!

All these tremendous features won’t mean much without the
promise of service excellence.

When you trust your media assets and other valuables to DocuSafe you’ll be working with a
company that has never lost a customer due to poor service. That’s an accomplishment we strive
to maintain every hour of the year.

Industry Concerns and Issues

  • Corporate officers are now ultimately responsible for protecting their organization's vital records. Legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA has attached large fines and even criminal penalties of up to 10 years in prison for failing to protect vital business documents, medical records and digital media.

  • Despite what you may have heard, computer media is not permanent.

  • Expensive CD-ROMs, DVD’s, tape backups and tape cartridges last from five to eight years if they are not stored in the proper environmental conditions.

  • Companies must be aware of the many physical forces that can damage, if not completely destroy their data and take steps to protect themselves from these potential threats. It doesn't take a catastrophic fire to destroy computer media and other valued records. Fluctuation in temperature or humidity, dust particles, and UV light can be just as dangerous and ultimately as devastating.

  • For diazo and silver halide film, temperature and humidity need to be precisely controlled and they should be isolated from each other as well as from computer media or other material that may produce gasses that result in degradation and cause redox blemishing.

  • Too many businesses that understand the need to protect their data mistakenly assume that concrete vaults that protect paper documents will also protect digital media. This just is not the case.

  • In terms of the possible legal consequences, the loss of even a part of your business information due to improper storage could lead to severe penalties, and staggering business losses.

How to Select an Information Security Partner

Your business amasses new records every year to add to its collection. The constancy of threats to
your security by outside agents or disaster won’t be diminishing. How will you decide to protect
your information assets and who will you decide to trust with those assets? With those questions
in mind, DocuSafe asks you to please consider the following:

  • Avoid leaving the security of your critical media and data assets to chance or high pressure sales tactics.

  • Take all the steps necessary to prevent critical media and data assets falling into hostile hands by selecting a partner that offers ultimate security.

  • Review your choice of service providers to eliminate “posers” who offer inferior protection, poor customer service, and inadequate facilities.

  • Steer clear of companies with odd policies, red tape, confusing and overly complicated forms full of fine print and who insist on long term contracts.

  • Ask your prospective security provider how many of their customers would like to leave because of one-sided, abusive, and ultimately expensive contracts.

  • Give top consideration to a reputable and established company that has never lost a customer due to poor service.

  • Plan your agenda to visit DocuSafe’s NEW and unparalleled media vaulting facility today!
